We also participate in the Freedom’s Rubber Ducky Day, Old Home Week Parade Day, Old Home Week Craft Sale at the Freedom Elementary School and in Freedom Rings in the Holidays. On those days, we sell a variety of handmade items in addition to many quilts.

Do you love to sew or quilt or enjoy the fellowship of other women? If so, our Ladies Guild may be the answer! We meet every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the First Christian Church of Freedom. We sew and enjoy devotions and lunchtime together. Please bring your “brown bag” lunch.
From July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, we were able to donate 200 quilts to the Memorial Hospital Birthing Program, for area nursing homes and other non-profit organizations.
Additionally, we also create a raffle quilt that is raffled off on the 3rd Sunday in November. Those proceeds are used to purchase more materials and supplies for our quilting projects.
