First Christian Church of Freedom will hold Vacation Bible School for children 5-12 years old.
During the week children will be learning about God’s love for every single one, and how we can take care of each other and the world.
Each day will have a theme and include lessons, music, movement, crafts, activities and fresh air.
Our program will be affordable to all wishing to participate. See registration form for pricing.
Open to children entering Kindergarten through Grade 6
- Drop-offs begin at 8:30
- Program 9 am to 12 noon
- Extended Day option until 3pm
First Christian is hosting and welcoming everyone to our VBS (Very Blessed to Serve). VBS is known in the world as Vacation Bible School — and that’s nice. And while we’re using the VBS title, the kids program from JUL 13-17 is going to be a safe, meaningful, and totally fun experience. Kids from age 5ish to age 12ish will enjoy making friends, learning, playing, singing, relaxing, reading, experimenting, and tasting yummy snacks and treats.
Anyone and everyone is welcome. Seriously. Our sign out front says, “Come as you are,” and we mean it. At First Church, we gather all the saints of God who feel called to be part of community. Our mission: Love God, Love Neighbor, Serve those in Need. We want all ages, all perspectives, all abilities to be together to experience God’s boundless love.
Considering for a moment the 5ish year old you know personally … the 8 year old who needs some activity … the 11 year old who would enjoy making some. new friends … and the 13 year old who might want to be a helper. Help us connect with the kids in Freedom and beyond.
The cost: It’s a sliding scale. There’s a price point for every family. What matters to us is that any kid who wants to participate — will be welcome here!
